- Agree 100%. I too have openings (and these are 100k jobs). People come in looking like slobs with poorly written resumes and expect to be handed the job. My vote is 26 weeks and then get off the dole.

- I agree. Unfortunately the "they" is the media and "they" never even bothered to cover the fact that we have an Hawaiian president in his 1st year of office the very year that Hawaii turns 50 (as a state) and they do nothing to try and capitalize on the moment.

I notice your comment. Though I do respect your right to an opinion I believe calling children fatties is uncalled for. Some children are very active and still have a belly or thighs due to thier genes. Before you make such judgements you should understand the children you are talking about. I agree that it would not hurt a child to walk two miles to school. But as a working mother of a two children. One who is only three. I don't think in this day and age I would like my five year old walking on a busy street either. There other thing beside traffic to consider. One being pedafiles that prey on young children. When we were young we had other adults who would supervise use voluntarily. This does not happen as much any more. Due to the fact most parents have to work. Maybe in the future you could select your word more carefully.
